I have similar problem. Vesta created 3 backups of 3 websites. Then (cant remember exactly steps) I did: - start manually backup - remove 3 backups via MidnightCommander - remove 1 website from vesta - add directory exclusion to backup config - remove 3 backups in vesta - start manually backup -- no...

on debian worked for me and expand resoruces as bescribed.
Actually I had some problem with nano, so I used F4 in MidnightCommander (then F2 for save and F10 for quit).

i my case it was missing:
- in DNS missing A *.domain (when alias www. was in vesta)
So I removed alias www.domain from vesta, then add to DNS A *.domain and now I think I can add also alias www.domain back in vesta.
