And i want to say something too.. Consider that any annual or monthly fee plan will bu useless. Please make commercial licence with one time fee per server. Maybe support would be with subscription fee or one time fee for server licence and annual fee for updates? roflmao. Useless? Wouldn't dare to...

sudo apt-get update will get you there on updates, but you might want to read up on Ubuntu server hardening. Updating is not enough.

Make sure your server is not an open relay, and check your log files.
