Re: BUG: Suspend option lock all accounts
I had the exact same issue. I could not SSH because even [root] was locked. Is there a permanent fix for this bug? I don't want to suspend an account again until I know it won't lockout root again. For anyone who wants to suspend an account you should first login as root then: nano /usr/local/vesta/...

Re: Vesta vs Sentora
Yes, Sentora is still very young and not as featured as Vesta. I wouldn't advise using it for anything other than testing right now. I've been using Vesta for almost 2 years and I host several clients, never had a problem yet. I highly recommend Vesta and CSF (Config Server Firewall). Together they ...

Re: Load websites suing IP address
Alternately if your server has more than 1 IP you can assign that domain to another IP and visit it that way.

Re: How to Install Joomla
Hello meshaun, Please tell us more information. 1. What is the OS on your server? 2. Have you added a domain name with an FTP account? 3. Is the DNS configured correctly? Can you see the default Vesta account page when you type in your domain name? 4. Did you delete/rename the default index.html whe...

Re: Can't Upgrade Wordpress
I had the exact same problem. https://forum.vestacp.com/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=4708 I found that rebooting the server was most effective at resolving the issue. Also, make sure you create an additional FTP account and see if that account can be used for WordPress to update through. If all else fails m...

Re: web based file management system with zip/unzip feature
If you looked at the comments in the screen shot you would see that "the logo can be easily changed". The example logo was purposely made to look ugly so users would want to add their own branding.watchopolis wrote:i don't like it, and don't need it
it has a ugliest logo i have ever seen on filemanagers

Re: Is it safe to install Vesta on existing databases?
I think you answered your own question. If it says it will over write odds are it will. :) My advice is to backup all your existing DB and then re-add them once Vesta is installed.

web based file management system with zip/unzip feature
Sorry if this thread is in the wrong place. I'm 90% finished with my web based file manager that allows for multi-user file management, and for users to zip and unzip files uploaded to their http directories [public_html] and [public_shtml]. This is very useful when migrating sites from one server t...
