Re: How to install dnsmasq/other caching nameserver for Spamassassin when server host DNS gets "query to URIBL was block
Here is how I ended up solving this myself, with luck without any dangerous side-effects (please let me know if you see any). Step 1 is to make sure that /etc/resolv.conf only points to 127.0.0.1 and not the external DNS server. Step 2 is to set /etc/named.conf with the following items inside of the...

Re: How to install dnsmasq/other caching nameserver for Spamassassin when server host DNS gets "query to URIBL was block
On closer reading, I see that Spamassassin doesn't recommend dnsmasq but they do recommend BIND, which I believe is actually already installed and working in Vesta on port 53. How do I configure BIND to work as a non-forwarding caching nameserver that will allow me to query Spamassassin blacklists w...

How to install dnsmasq/other caching nameserver for Spamassassin when server host DNS gets "query to URIBL was blocked"
Greetings, I have been running a Vesta CP install for many years and I'm very happy with it, thank you for this great software. My issue is actually with my server's host – since I use OVH, Spamassassin usually returns the result "ADMINISTRATOR NOTICE: The query to URIBL was blocked" because Vesta's...

Re: nginx stat 13: Permission denied error
Having read this, I wondered if it was the same issue of a directory without execute capability: http://serverfault.com/questions/170192/nginx-php-fpm-permission-denied-error-13-in-nginx-log-configuration-mista/170263#170263 The only folder in the problematic path that wasn't already set to execute ...

nginx stat 13: Permission denied error
Greetings, I'm very happy with Vesta CP, thank you for this great software. I have had one small issue for a while with my CentOS 7 install and I think some others see it as well: https://www.google.de/#q=vesta+stat+13+permission+denied+site:forum.vestacp.com What happens is that when a visitor requ...

Re: SSL Certificate Installation
I've had the chance to fully install and test these CA certificate bundle configurations now and it's correct that they do not all create a secure connection according to checkssl.com (although they all show a lock icon in a browser). Out of the five entries above that can be saved, these two bundle...

Re: Roundcube not start, database problem
This issue appeared for me because roundcubemail wasn't fully installed and configured during the Vesta install process. To get it working I needed to set the following line to true instead of false in /etc/roundcubemail/main.inc.php: $rcmail_config['enable_installer'] = false; Then run the roundcub...

Re: SSL Certificate Installation
To follow up on this, on the basis of my expectation that this issue was due to the CA bundle from Comodo being in the wrong order for Vesta's CA text field expectations, I tested reordering the items in the bundle and discovered that some orders do not get a CA error. So that no one else has to rep...

Re: SSL Certificate Installation
Hello, I have the identical issue. I am certain that I have the correct cert and key contents in their respective input boxes, but when I enter the Comodo SSL .ca-bundle contents in "SSL Certificate Authority / Intermediate (optional)" I always receive the error "Error: ssl certificate authority is ...
