I've found solution for issue 1 somewehere on forum - it was caused by duplicated entries in user.conf and backup.conf.
I will try to rebuild users and see if it will help with my backup issues.

Hi, I moved my VESTA accounts from old server (debian 7) to new one (debian 8) and i have few issues: 1. Iptables firewall is working for me now but i still dont have fail2ban in my system. I've got the same problem. Hello
Script v-backup-user does not copy hidden (.*) files and directories from client directory. Its problem mostly for users who use shell access because their settings are not coppied into backup (dirs and files like .irssi, .mc).

I think there should be option to resend user detials to his e-mail after manually changing user password by admin for www, sql or ftp accounts.
