I did a fresh install of vestacp for my company website. Unfortunately i was not able to receive email, but could able to send to external domains. While checking log, i could this issue.

clamd: unable to connect to UNIX socket (/var/run/clamav/clamd.sock): Permission denied

Can someone ...

No. I use Centos 6 and have same error...

Reboot the machine once vestacp installation is complete, this time vestacp CLI commands will work.

I just checked and all working fine. All i have done is,

chown clam.clam /var/run/clamav

I found this solutions from another thread.

Of-course this solves another issue, where ClamAV takes 25% of system load. Now all working fine.
