Re: Can I use WHMCS on Vesta Panel?

You can, here is the link with install instructions.

https://vestacp.com/docs/#how-to-install-whmcs-module

Once installed, you can add a server in WHMCS with type of Vesta and enter the admin username and password.

Re: What does lets encrypt support in gui do?

Thank you very much. its really a miracle :) But the cronjob is issued daily. is it needed? i think a monthly cronjob is ok. I would leave it on daily, unless you created all of your certs on the same day, doing this monthly could miss some that are expiring soon and need to be renewed. If run dail...

Re: New to VestaCP..Is it possible to use vesta to host different kinds of software?

It looks like the spiceworks help desk product only runs on windows, so you wouldn't be able to use this with Vesta as its linux based. You could consider checking out some of the options here - https://github.com/Kickball/awesome-selfhosted#ticketing, the PHP based ones would work, if they fit your...

Re: ioncube whmcs cron job fails

The CLI can sometimes use a different ini, you can modify your cronjob and add "php -c /etc/php/7.0/apache2/php.ini /path/to/whmcs/cron.php"

Sync VestaCP Domains with Rainloop

Hi All, I wanted to automate configuring Rainloop with my VestaCP domains and couldn't really find anything so I made a simple script to do a simple sync with VestaCP. The script can be found here - https://github.com/chaosjester/VestaCP-to-Rainloop-Sync, feel free to fork and expand on it. I am sur...

Force letsencrypt option on all new domains added

Hi All,

Is there any way to force any new added domains to use letsencrypt? With the ease letsencrypt has created in getting certificated it would be nice to make it on by default.

TIA

Re: How to use Vesta DNS service without Digital Ocean DNS Management

You need to be able to create glue records for your custom nameservers. These are sometimes referred to as "vanity" or "child" nameservers, usually this can be done with your domain registrar. For freenom, this looks like the guide you need to follow - https://my.freenom.com/knowledgebase.php?action...

Sync DNS records with another server not running VestaCP

Hi All, I currently have 2 vps's running VestaCP and have the dns cluster set up and working, but I want to shut down one of them and migrate to only 1. I have another smaller VPS that is running centos7 and want to use it instead of the 2nd Vesta server. Does anyone know a good way to sync the DNS ...

Re: 301 redirect issue

Looks like this issue has something to do with nginx, I just turned off nginx support for the domain and the redirect works fine.

This site won't really benefit from nginx much so I am happy to leave it off, but if anyone has a fix, I would still like to know.

Thanks :)

301 redirect issue

Hi, I have set up a .htaccess with a 301 redirect from one of my sites .com.au domain to their .com.hk domain but when going to the .com.au domain I get redirected to a different site on my server. Has anyone come across this issue before? Here is what I have in the htaccess file Options +FollowSymL...
