Switch to postfix on debian/ubuntu?
I was curious if it was possible to use postfix on debian/ubuntu as opposed to exim? Exim's configuration is rather verbose and unfamiliar to me, as far as I am aware, postfix is uninstalled on debian/ubuntu, but works fine on redhat/centos? Could such be elaborated upon with regard to this decision...

Re: upgrade apache to 2.4 on centos 6?
I imagine it should work. So as long as ther...

Yeah, I've also had this issue when trying to change the system IP. I have submitted a bug report already on the github project page.

The "IT WORKS!" thing is the default landing page for Apache. Looks like it's not hitting the virtual host, and instead hitting the default domain (since you removed the default.domain index page that vesta includes as a placeholder.) Might want to check the spelling of the domain in question with w...

Re: How to install node and npm
Do the install as per normal, and change the configuration not to use the same ports, then you can use nginx to do a reverse proxy to the port you want, I imagine.

Re: Directory Listing
If using apache, edit the sites .htaccess for the directory by adding the following line without quotes: "Options +Indexes" To disable directory listing protection add the following to .htaccess without quotes: "Options -Indexes" Hi egglan, I already did that. Tried in .htaccess and httpd.conf but ...

Re: sudo: no tty present and no askpass program specified So
Have you checked your crontabs to see what scripts are running?
Also, when you create a user, there's an ability to give them shell access or not, perhaps someone is attempting to brute force your site?
Have you patched shellshock?

Re: about Nginx as Reverse proxy
I would say so, and if you need to change the template to caching for when your server starts getting hit hard, just go ahead and change it in the web domain configuration page.
