Re: sudo: no tty present and no askpass program specified
I've used Google, extensively, to find a solution, to no avail.
The link you posted is not relevant to my situation. There are more relevant, VestaCP-related posts that ask similar questions, with a variety of answers, none of which work for me.
Anyone else?

sudo: no tty present and no askpass program specified
Hi All, Ubuntu 16.04.5 running VestaCP 0.9.8-22 I'm using a script to copy a backup file to dropbox. The script is stored in /usr/local/bin, has 0755 permissions and is owned by admin:admin. Running the script from the command line works perfectly. Setting it as a CRON job generates the following er...

Re: /backup filling up with tmp files
Thanks for this.
I added that line to the v-backup-user, and then ran v-backup-users (which I assume calls v-backup-user) and attempted to create a backup, but I only got another tmp file in my /backup directory.
What on earth has happened?

Re: /backup filling up with tmp files
Update:
It appears to be an errant cron job:
sudo /usr/local/vesta/bin/v-update-sys-queue backup
Pausing this has stopped the tmp files filling up the /backup folder. However, I have no idea why this is. Can anyone offer any help? What's gone wrong and how to I fix it?
Cheers.

/backup filling up with tmp files
Hi, My backup folder is /backup Over the last few days, it's been filling up with tmp files, until /var/root becomes 100% full, and then all kinds of crap happens. Every time I empty it, it refills in a few hours. Here's a directory listing: -rw-r----- 1 admin admin 701317120 Aug 13 03:05 admin.2017...

Ok, hold that thought. I've got another problem, and that might be the cause of this one. Will report back!
