Re: Only acces vesta trough a SSL subdomain [SOLVED] Topic is solved

and blocked port 8083 in the firewall. The script you make works great (thanks), although as a heads up for anyone else trying this, blocking 8083 in the firewall causes nginx to crash if you enable SSL or delete a site. don't fully block 8083, you still need access from localhost based on the rewr...

Re: Impossible to disable cron email notifications

The reason is that admin user cron jobs flood my mailbox. Not enough disk space to run backup Error: Connection to localhost failed etc. Sometimes 10-20 messages per day. so you dont think you need this emails? maybe for fixing the different, important problems? Re: Impossible to disable cron email notifications

In any case, if I switched off notifications in VestaCP and the mail address disappeared from crontab file, I expected not to receive any mail with cron output or error messages, but I receive it. Is it a bug or feature? i think its not a go...

Re: HDD VS SSD

HDD vs. SSD: Always use SSD, performance is much better. You don't write the pricings of your vps or the hoster. For my company I own some rackspace in a datacenter, also I'm ripe lir member, but we still use some services (vps and dedicated) at hetzner.com.

stay at ssd, dont switch back to hdd!

Re: letsencrypt https only works after extra tweaks

Had a short check on the server: installation is apache2 only, we only use apache2+nginx on our side, there i also noticed that let's encrypt with disabled nginx template does not work. Suggested to switch to apache2+nginx instead of apache2 only.
