I just noticed this too and I'm considering this to be a huge issue. It isn't always possible to monitor the activities of users in realtime, so there always could be a short period in which a unauthorized user could run a subdomain. Yeah I wrote everything into that install-script to install vesta on other servers, too. :) I just fixed some things and I'm still not sure if everything is stable yet. This is because it changes to
wget $CHOST/$VERSION/$release/dovecot.tar.gz -O /etc/dovecot.tar.gz

Got it working on CentOS 7 now. Installed everything manually to made it work. Also needed some minor fixes in the code.
