Re: Slow storage area
A better approach would be to "symlink" the directories on the bigger drive. I don't use mail on my webservers so can't really comment which folders, but I do such a setup for /home and /backup on many of my servers with multiple mixed storage. Symlink /backup to <biggerdrive>/backup and that's all...

Re: Slow storage area
I found an interesting approach on Debian (may work for other distro too). In /etc/dovecot/conf.d/10-mail.conf we can find the dovecot configuration for the mail path of each user: mail_privileged_group = mail mail_access_groups = mail mail_location = maildir:%h/mail/%d/%n pop3_uidl_format = %08Xu%0...

Re: Slow storage area
Thank for your answer. I agree, Linux is incredible for customization. The way you suggest I already made some modification to VestaCP overall system to let: - Use Rainloop webmail instead of Roundcube - Use php-fpm directly with NGINX (instead of NGINX + Apache) to serve webmail and phpmyadmin - Ba...

Re: Out of memory
Both servers are Debian 7 based, with apache prefork (so it seems). On VestaCP equipped server the apache related packages are: # dpkg -l | grep apache ii apache2 2.2.22-13+deb7u6 amd64 Apache HTTP Server metapackage ii apache2-mpm-prefork 2.2.22-13+deb7u6 amd64 Apache HTTP Server - traditional non-...

Re: Out of memory
I agree, memory leak isn't easy to track. But what seems really strange to me is the huge amount of memory each apache's child uses (around 4 % of 2Gb) from the really begin just apache service is started I have other hosting servers using different panel administration tools and without Nginx in fr...

Re: Wrong certificate for
I finally solved the problem. I'm very newbie on nginx, and I don't understand it's job as proxy in VestaCP architecture. I though it was only a "transparent" filter from public-exposed port 80 to internal port 8080 (apache2) and from public-exposed port 443 to internal port 8443 (apache-ssl). So I ...

Re: Wrong certificate for
Yes, self signed.
The certificate for roundcube website is not a wildcard certificate.
The certificate for website my.domain1.it has a wildcard certificate *.domain1.it
Website my.domain2.it has no certificate (no ssl for it)
