Re: letsencrypt problem with renew
I'm having issues renewing certificates with Letsencrypt. More specifically, when I run v-update-letsencrypt-ssl I get the following errors: /usr/local/vesta/bin/v-check-letsencrypt-domain: line 93: $conf: ambiguous redirect /usr/local/vesta/bin/v-check-letsencrypt-domain: line 94: $conf: ambiguous ...

Re: User can crash web services through UI

[SOLVED] User can crash web services through UI
A user with access to Vesta CP UI (no admin access), tried such a config that crashed the web services (both httpd and nginx). I don't know what he did exactly but the result was the following: In /home/user/conf/web/httpd.conf one <VirtualHost> directive was missing the IP address. It was like this...

Re: SSH Hardening
I use SSH keys on all of my servers and I've completely disabled password authentication. It works great on Ubuntu and CentOS.

Re: Cron suddennly not run
Did you correct the mistake I noted on my previous message? If any job has an error, then none of them will execute.

Re: Monitor and restart stopped services
Monit is really nice! Thanks. Installed it with apt-get install monit (I'm on Ubuntu 14.04) and then configured according to my needs. One thing to note is that the version of monit that comes with the ubuntu repository is rather outdated (v5.6 compared to v5.19 which is the latest). Posting here th...

Re: Cron suddennly not run
It seems the second entry is wrong. Highlighted and underlined the mistake: 15 00 00 * * sudo /usr/local/vesta/bin/v-update-sys-queue traffic You're asking for day 0 of the month, which does not exist. You can check your crontabs with http://crontab.guru/ Moreover I'm not sure if these php statement...

Re: Internal IP Change
When you login to VestaCP GUI as admin, the second option at the top menu is "IP". Have you tried adding the new IP there?
