Two domains on the same user/ip
I have added two domains on my vestacp instance, under the same user and I only have one ip address on the server. I have created two dns entries for each of the domains and it looks like this: domain1.com ns1.domain1.com 192.168.1.10 template: child-ns domain2.com ns1.domain2.com 192.168.1.10 templ...

vsftpd Connection refused: too many sessions for this address
I am using latest version of vesta 0.9.8r21 on ubuntu 14.04 and vsftpd: version 3.0.2 and my problem is related to uploading files via FTP. The service has worked great for the past two years and I was able to upload thousands of files with 0 errors. However recently, I can't do that anymore, if I t...

Re: Web interface using different ssl certificate?
Method 1 would have been nice but it did not work, I was getting this error "Error: Certificate Authority not found", even though there we're only 2 fields: SSL Certificate and SSL Key which I was copy and pasting from the domain config tab. Method 2 worked and it successfully solved the issue. Than...

I've recently installed a Comodo SSl certificate and I've switched my main domain to HTTPS. However the web interface of vesta does not use the new certificate and is still giving me the error message "Your connection is not private" I am using Vesta 0.9.8 r17 on Ubuntu 14.04 How can I fix this, so ...

Re: Higher memory usage after updating to Vesta 0.9.8-17
It looks like top 3 processes are these: 841.20 Mb /usr/sbin/mysqld 615.01 Mb /usr/bin/python /usr/bin/fail2ban-server -b -s /var/run/fail2ban 216.85 Mb rsyslogd I also did some reading on ubuntu memory usage in general and the advice was to look at the -/+ buffers/cache: section from free -m comman...

Higher memory usage after updating to Vesta 0.9.8-17
Hi, I am running Ubuntu 14.04 and recently updated from Vesta 0.9.8.16 to 0.9.8-17 and noticed an increase in memory usage. Here is graph, around 20:00 is when the update was installed and through the night memory usage was higher than the usual. Around 14:00 there is a drop, I did a reboot on the s...

/home/admin/tmp using up too much space/inodes
I noticed my Ubuntu 14.04 web server stopped serving pages because it had no more disk space left for caching so i started looking for the issue. root@domain:/# df -h Filesystem Size Used Avail Use% Mounted on udev 487M 4.0K 487M 1% /dev tmpfs 100M 388K 100M 1% /run /dev/disk/by-label/DOROOT 30G 21G...

Re: Nginx password protect directory
It is possible, I just need the right config instructions to tell Nginx how to process php files. Protecting my folder via Apache is not a solution because Nginx is the main web server here. I can find many example of configuring nginx for php5-fpm or FastCGI but I'm not sure how VestaCP is doing it...
