Re: /var/log/vesta/system.log FILLED with firewall commands...
*bump*
This is still an issue. Can someone please explain why this is happening?
My system.log continues to log thousands of these firewall commands every day.

Re: Cannot download backups through web interface
When I click download on a backup, it loads a blank page and nothing happens. I noticed the /home/backup folder was owned by root:root, so I ran chown -R backup:backup /home/backup Problem still persists. Have you tried using another browser, or you can probably try using incognito to see if it has...

Elegant solution for running a nodejs websocket server on VestaCP system
I have a nodejs websocket server script that I want to deploy on my VestaCP managed server (Ubuntu 16.04) I could easily start/stop it manually via ssh, but I'd like to integrate it into the VestaCP backend to make it a bit easier to manage, so it will run automatically on startup, also allowing me ...

Multiple domains, 'Cert Hostname DOES NOT VERIFY' according to TLS checker
I own a server running 4 websites. I understand there is an issue with exim4's SSL settings and multiple domains, so as other posts on the forum have suggested I've followed the instructions here (https://forum.vestacp.com/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=18861) to setup a site with renewing SSL certificate in ...

LetsEncrypt multiple subdomains not working? [FIXED]
As I understand it, the usage of v-add-letsencrypt-domain is: v-add-letsencrypt-domain USER DOMAIN [ALIASES] [RESTART] [NOTIFY] The ALIASES parameter is a comma separated list, which I gleamed from looking at the source code. For some reason any time I had more than one subdomain I would get this ve...

Re: iptables not found, website down, HELP!
It's working now but I don't know how I fixed it...
Can someone just clarify that I don't need /etc/init.d/iptables or service iptables ____?
Many posts on this forum suggest running these scripts but I don't have them.
But my site seems to be working fine now.

iptables not found, website down, HELP!
I've got myself into a right mess this morning. A few days ago I installed iptables-persistent for something unrelated to my website. I had an email this morning that my SSL certificate didn't renew. I updated VestaCP, went onto the web interface and tried re-enabling SSL support with Lets encrypt. ...
