Percona + MySql + php 7
So this is generally for phpmyadmin, Ubuntu 16, and Percona. I found a bug where Phpmyadmin wouldn't allow you to view the users from the Percona server. It'd tell you to run root@server: mysql_upgrade but this wouldn't fix the issue. So I went web searching. It's actually an issue between Percona a...

Re: DNS no glue
I had to destroy (delete) the host-true.com and re-add it for DNS to show correctly for that one. Now all the others are working fine. No clue what happened.

Re: Is it easy to set up mailing lists?
Thank you for getting back to me! That's what I kind of figured looked around vesta. I will have to talk with my boss to see if we have the ability to do a paid solution for this. I know a fourm for vestacp might be the wrong place to ask this, but have you had any experience with Sentora? Oh I wou...

Re: Best Practice for Blocking Countries?
I have to agree with Locus. However, my two cents: Having a mass amount of IP's in the firewall will cause a slow down as each connection is checked against a Large list of IP's. The same goes for .htaccess. You could just ignore the bots and set a trap (worth mentioning project honeypot). But just ...

Re: Change Admin Panel to Domain name (or just SSL it)
Hey guys so I am having some serious issues setting up SSL on Vesta Admin Panel. Full disclosure, while I do have some knowledge, as went to school for this 16 years ago. Knowledge has faded, so I'm kinda new to all of this (stuff comes back as I do it lol). I have the Letsencrypt_Vesta running, I ...

Re: Problem with panel SSL
Ok, to install the SSL into the Panel or backend is very simple. Your gonna need a few things before you get started: The Cert location (cert, privkey, chain(just in case)) SSH SFTP or FTP with root access For this example I'm going to use the SSL certs I get from LetsEncrypt (the github version, no...
