Re: Specifying location of web folders and db storage?
So I've been doing a little research and figured out how to modify my fstab to mound /dev/sd0 to /home...no problem... But before I do that I want to see what needs to be done exactly... I curently have /mnt/md0/html and /mnt/md0/mysql and those folders house my nginx website data and mysql data... ...

Re: Specifying location of web folders and db storage?
Well I'm still experimenting for now on a cloud server. I haven't installed on my live server yet, I'm trying to work out all the kinks first ;) If the raid array is already mounted by default as /mnt/md0/ is there anything I can do to change that without reinstalling ubuntu or repartitioning the wh...

Specifying location of web folders and db storage?
I am wanting to configure vesta for my dedicated server, and it has a raid1 array that I'd like to put the web files and the mysql storage. The location is /mnt/md0/ In the past I had all of my nginx domains at /mnt/md0/html/ and all of my mysql databases at /mnt/md0/mysql How can I make this change...

Just installed...timeout on 8083 [Self solved]
So, I've just installed Vesta on Ubuntu 16.04 on a cloud server for experimenting with the process. I've rebooted the machine, and I can't seem to connect to either the CP at 8083 or the default website at 80. Nothing... Port 8083 (trying on https) gives me a timeout...and port 80 default just says ...

Re: Switching to vesta from bare metal, few questions
That's a lot of assumptions. My website is about 110 gigabytes of art assets and a database of about 120 megabytes. I have over 20000 users and lots of traffic. I have a dedicated server for a reason.

Re: Switching to vesta from bare metal, few questions
I only have one site...I just wanted an easy way to manage it. I may add more later. Getting a new server would cost me a lot of money...60 bucks to be exact. That's not just something one does is it? I'd be better off just dealing with the downtime of reinstalling ubuntu.

Re: Switching to vesta from bare metal, few questions
Yup, I know all of that already, that's why I'm asking the questions I'm asking. I'm prepared for everything to break, and I'm tryign to know ahead of time all the things I will need to do to minimize downtime. But first I need some questions answered: 1) Can I specify the actual storage location of...

Re: Switching to vesta from bare metal, few questions
The docs say you can force the install. I don't have the flexibility to just start a new server. I have one dedicated server and my site is running on it right now. Surely there's a way I can get this going?

Anybody have any ideas on any of these questions?
