syeef is right, this will work.

Another solution is to change the order in /etc/apache2/conf.d/vesta.conf, the first one in top will be displayed as default. So you can there just move your default-site from admin to top.
Resolved with this fix.

Default page is a random website

Hi, I've just done a fresh install of Vesta (CentOS 7). I then migrated a backup from a different server running Vesta. (CentOS 6). For some reason, if I direct a domain to the server (the domain is not setup on VESTA), the default page displayed is a random website which is on the VESTA host. I'm n...

Re: Apache Testing 123

Resolved.

From what I've read, this is normal behaviour.

Apache Testing 123

Hi,

I've just done a fresh install of Vesta (CentOS 7).
I then migrated a backup from a different server running Vesta. (CentOS 6).

For some reason, how do I change the default Apache 'Testing 123...' page which I get when I visit a domain which doesn't have an index.html?

Thanks

can you show us any logs or provide access to server in PM?
Again, thanks a lot for a very fast response and great support!

For anyone who experiences a similar issue in the future, I solved this by restarting Vesta (yes, it was that simple)

Code: Select all

service vesta restart
Thanks

Website not working

Hi, Ive been using Vesta for a while now and it has all been working well. I use CentOS 6.6. I updated to the latest Vesta version and restarted nginx and httpd. Since then, Vesta doesn't appear to be working. When I try to go to the Vesta CP (https://domain.com:8083) I get 'Safari can't connect to ...

Re: nginx failed to restart

When I do: service httpd restart

I see:

Code: Select all

Starting httpd: [Wed Jun 29 14:35:21 2016] [warn] The Alias directive in /etc/ht
tpd/conf/httpd.conf at line 257 will probably never match because it overlaps an
 earlier Alias.

Re: Can't Send to Gmail!

Hi,

Thanks a lot for your reply!

I have managed to get the second option working! I added a reverse record on the IPv6 (already had one on IPv4) and then added the TXT - MX record as stated.

Thanks a lot for the help! You have solved an issue which i have been trying to fix for ages!

Thanks,
Rohan
