Re: Future OS Compatibility
Hi Imperio. I can see your point, however CentOS is also a major player with Vesta Panel. Sometimes you will find VPS Hosts who are iffy on their architecture of Debian if their interest is more on the CentOS side. I've just come across one such example. I cannot work with Debian and this is how I a...

Upgrade to 8.0.6 - issue with WordPress Functionality
Hi @Imperio I was totally impressed when I discovered VestaCP is up to date with php 8.06. What made me particularly happy was that VestaCP is still being supported by you. I had become worried about this. I even tried CyberPanel, which I found a great big heavy monster in comparison with my VestaCP...

Question to VestaCP legitimate owners. Is original VestaCP secure?
I've been using the original version of VestaCP since end of 2014. I don't have any complaints and still think it is an excellent panel, but would like to ask the Admin what the security status is of the script. Is the script still being regularly updated? I hear about VestaCP forks that are being d...

Re: Does VestaCP have any plans to upgrade php 5.6?
Thank you for the responses. I was hoping to get one from the Admin. As I know how to update php through the panel. However, I can't understand why the installation of VestaCP is working with an out of date php, like isn't it time to update their installation of php to be current? Particularly since...

Does VestaCP have any plans to upgrade php 5.6?
Does VestaCP plan to upgrade php 5.6? I thought that 5.6 was no longer supported with security updates? It is therefore a security risk?
PHP 5.6 is also no longer sufficient for the latest versions of web development scripts.
Is there a reason VestaCP is still with php 5.6?

Re: VestaCP multiple hosting and emails problem
For me it's not a good idea to use VestaCP for e-mail hosting. Better to go for a third party host like Zoho where you can get free domain mail hosting for 5 free accounts. It's much more secure and less headaches. Also when VestaCP goes down, then your e-mail with Zoho will still be OK. Zoho has lo...

Vesta DNS Domain Issues
Lately my VestaCP in not only one panel but more than one panel has not been doing that well with DNS. Problem is, now it works, and now it doesn't. When it doesn't work I can't get into the panel with the domain, but only the IP. I then first check whether Named server is up and running and every t...

Re: How long does the VestaCP default index.html take to show modifications to it?
It's 9:49 PM. Index.html was changed at around 5:00 p.m. I checked my FileZilla and the changed index.html is saved to my public folder as changed. However, it's still the old version showing almost 5 hours afterwards? Bizarre!
