Idea for a quick php5/7 switch
Hello, many php5 applications are not ready yet to run on php7, so I needed a dual-php configuration on ubuntu 16.04 LTS. u16.04 ships with php7, and the version scheme has changed just a little: php5 is gone, php7 now is just php, and after adding php5 from ondrej/php that one is php5.6 Vesta is a ...

Error: php-fpm start failed (update-rc.d: warning)
Hello again, when using the ( nginx + php-fpm ) config-settings from the website the install stops right after an update-rc.d warning (see last 2 lines below) after the following messages. I do have intim...

Darn!
Server is sending mails now (exim only), but return-path and envelope both show the FQ server name instead of the domain. Why? I don't see it and running out of time.. Any help is appreciated. What's setting the actual return path? Thanks!!

Separated Email and Web server connection
Hello all, maybe this has been posted, but I'm not seeing it: I have now separated web and mailserver, both running VestaCP (it's the best including this community, thanks btw). While I don't mind adding user accounts twice, HOW or WHERE excatly do I need to configure things for sending email from s...
