How to install memcached ?

I need to use memcached, but it seems that VestaCP did not install it by default. So I searched this forum and found former post about memcached, and run following command on CentOS 7: yum install --enablerepo=remi php-pecl-apc php-pecl-memcache memcached libmemcached -y Though the screen shows &quo...

Re: I got "The BEAST attack is not mitigated on this server" warning

Ok, I restarted NginX. Then several hours later, when I check my domain again with that SSL Checker, the result is:

BEAST attack : Mitigated server-side

It seems that this issue solved.

Thank you.

Re: I got "The BEAST attack is not mitigated on this server" warning

Use directive ssl_protocols in /etc/nginx/nginx.conf hi, @skurudo , you gave me great help! As a newbie of VestaCP and Linux, I surely need to know which file to edit. Now I find that code and deleted "TLS 1.0" from that line. Do I need to restart the NginX or VestaCP to make it work? Tha...

Re: where to see common server information?

Even if I, the Server admin, know all of those basic server information, how about my clients? If I have several clients (users), do I need to tell each one about those hosting plan details by email? I think showing those information directly on the Panel is better solution.

Yes, after using the ssllabs.com checker, I noticed that :

Protocols
TLS 1.2 Yes
TLS 1.1 Yes
TLS 1.0 Yes
SSL 3 No
SSL 2 No

Then, how can I disable/turn off TLS 1.0?

Thank you.

email sent out reveals my Server ID

I tried to use the SMTP server created by VestaCP to send test email to my Gmail account. Then I choose to "show original email" in Gmail, I found my Server ID inside those original information: Received: from iM847i3uk6bA ([120.27.137.71]) This is dangerous. My VPS provider had told me to...

where to see common server information?

I am a new user of VestaCP. After successfully installed VCP on CentOS 7, I login in VCP, and found the UI is very different than CPanels. This makes me very difficult to find things. For example, I want to know some basic common information about my server: what is the php version? what is the Apac...
