Re: How to set a dovecot master password to log into all mail accounts
For roundcube to work properly you may need to install this plugin. Haven't really tested it yet, but it seems to be required so that roundcube displays the correct login name, and loads the right preferences.

Any info on update 0.9.8-26?
Some servers just updated, but can't see any info on it yet in the Updates forum, which is still on the -24 release. As is the vestacp.com main page.

Re: Serious concerns with security
Being VestaCP platform to facilitate the management of server I think the DEV team should leverage the security issue very seriously. I have made a scan on my website with detectify and surprisingly see so many security concerns. What software is your website running? If you pointed detectify to yo...

How to set a dovecot master password to log into all mail accounts
I suggested this might be possible on another forum post about a different subject (https://forum.vestacp.com/viewtopic.php?p=79418), but just got around to looking at it. So its actually not hard to do, and can be useful if you're administering a server with a lot of users. BUT. Consider the privac...

Re: Add spamassassin on a working VestaCP installation
I think I went through this process before. As I recall, I downloaded the vestacp installer script and followed all spamassassin steps in there manually. Key is that you have to uncomment a line in the exim config file, to say SPAMASSASSIN=YES, so that the lines below that say .ifdef SPAMASSASSIN ar...

Re: Cpanel vs VestaCP: Feature Request
2. Webmail: List email on CPanel has Webmail button when I click then open webmail w/o need to enter Username and Password I have found this useful in CPanel. Seems like you could do it with a plugin, and dovecot's master user. https://plugins.roundcube.net/packages/cor/dovecot_impersonate https://...

This is cool. Thanks for the info. I'm a fan of CSF and install it on most of my VestaCPs.

Re: Does VestaCP have any plans to upgrade php 5.6?
OK, first of all I don't think you fully grasped what I was trying to say. If users install and run a script, as you say, or check the version of PHP, they will see the version of PHP which is installed with the operating system. This will usually be PHP 7.2 or 7.3 on a reasonably up to date OS. Thi...

Re: Does VestaCP have any plans to upgrade php 5.6?
I think you're confusing the version of php that vesta installs to run its web interface (the vesta-php package) with the PHP available to the OS you're running. While its true vesta-php is an old version, for reasons best known to the developers, your OS will probably come with php 7.2 as default, ...
