Re: sed: cannot rename /usr/local/vesta/conf/sedGh77Ff: Operation not permitted
If i setup Vesta to only allow 3 backups in package templates, the cron job v-backup-usr is still attempting to run on users that already have 3 backups. This of course then incorrectly throws an error...sed: cannot rename /usr/local/vesta/conf/sedLOFmFM: Operation not permitted. I wonder if Vesta i...

Re: mysql crash every nights
What websites are you running on your server?
If WordPress, check it's logs and security as the problem may actually be coming from there.
If you have cms websites(like wordpress), what security plugins are you running on them?

Stupid me restarted the whole server before i checked the logs so i am not sure what caused mariadb to crash unfortunately. I am also interested in changing multiprocessing module from mpm-prefork to m...

Re: [HowTo] Optimize Apache on CentOS 7 for VestaCP
a great tutorial.
Would be good to add a how to change from mpm_prefork to mpm_event (or mpm_worker) as i believe these two are going to produce much greater cost savings in terms of system resource usage (particularly RAM i believe)

Re: Memory continues to increase
Just wondering, You have 8 start servers on prefork....but on a 2 core system . Should this be same as number of cpu/cores like you have with mpm worker? Perhaps you could drop max requests per child (currently 4000 in mpm worker) back to half that amount. I thought 2000-2500 was enough. I have one ...

Re: [HowTo] Secure Your VestaCP Centos 7 VPS with Two-factor Google Authenticator
Has anyone tried this recently?
I just followed this through and I am not asked for Google Authentication (login in using either root or admin users)
Does it only apply to normal users?
