Re: Impossible to change email user password from Rouncube
Actually, you can not get SSL for mydomain.com if that domain is avaiable only in your localhost :)
I will try now to check if driver/vesta.php can be changed to ignore self-signed SSL error.
Stay on...

Re: Impossible to change email user password from Rouncube
And you are accessing Vesta with URL https://mydomain.com:8083/ ? Basicaly, problem is self-signed SSL. You can get free certificate with https://letsencrypt.org/howitworks/ Here are the steps: git clone https://github.com/letsencrypt/letsencrypt cd letsencrypt ./letsencrypt-auto --help # temporary ...

Re: Impossible to change email user password from Rouncube
Are you sure you done this: 1. Open /etc/roundcube/plugins/password/config.inc.php 2. Find: $rcmail_config['password_vesta_host'] = 'localhost'; 3. Change localhost to your server hostname (if you are not sure what is your hostname, open /etc/hostname file) 4. Also, if you changed Vesta port, change...

Re: Mail Server Connection
Open /etc/dovecot/dovecot.conf
Second line change to:

Re: Partitioning scheme for VestaCP (Dedicated server)
I think that partitioning is not important to VestaCP at all.
VestaCP is just a 'worker' at your server... not requiring any special partition...
You can put everything on /, you can also put /home on separated partition, but again... it's not related to VestaCP at all...

You need also this.
Run as root in SSH console:
Run as root in SSH console:
Code: Select all
cp /var/lib/roundcube/plugins/jqueryui/config.inc.php.dist /var/lib/roundcube/plugins/jqueryui/config.inc.php

Re: Impossible to change email user password from Rouncube
Before I did so http://forum.vestacp.com/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=10252#p38264 It's not related with this, that is a frontend bug with tinyMCE. Let's see what your log says. In SSH as root run: chown admin:admin /var/log/roundcube Now try to change a password. Then open /var/log/roundcube/errors and pa...

Re: Impossible to change email user password from Rouncube
To speed up things, here is what I also did: 1. Open /etc/roundcube/plugins/password/config.inc.php 2. Find: $rcmail_config['password_vesta_host'] = 'localhost'; 3. Change localhost to your server hostname (if you are not sure what is your hostname, open /etc/hostname file) 4. Also, if you changed V...

Re: Impossible to change email user password from Rouncube
In SSH as root run:
Now try to change a password.
Then open /var/log/roundcube/errors and paste log here.
It's very possible that you also have a second bug (I had it too), fsockopen can not connect to SSL.
Patching is easy, just confirm my suspicion.

Re: Impossible to change email user password from Rouncube
After a lot of debuging, I finaly figured out what is going on. Someone who wrote a ''Rondcube password changer driver for VestaCP'' should convert a function to class in file /usr/share/roundcube/plugins/password/drivers/vesta.php Plugin 'passwod' is expecting a class in that file, but there is onl...
