The main thing I did, was to disable gzip compression - So in the section where you setup the backups (enabling,disabling, remote backup etc), just set the compression to 0. This will make it run faster, I also did some tweaks in the backup script so it does "nice -10" as part of the big queries, t...

2 days later the problem is back. But now only httpd graphs are broken. Any advice where shall I start the investigation now?

Ok, one hour later after some debugging...
Problem: CloudFlare pointed domain to different IP, so /usr/local/vesta/bin/v-update-sys-rrd-nginx could not obtain data from localhost at port 8081 as it was blocked
Fix: /etc/hosts - remove # from line:
127.0.0.1 localhost

That is why in many cases it is good idea to use both - nginx for static pages, images etc. and apache for dynamic pages.
