Re: Error: Let's Encrypt validation status 400
Same issue for me as well. Ubuntu 18.10. Moving domains across from another server. Domains already had LE set up on the old server, so to create a new one I added a new sub-domain. This URL works fine (what I'm seeing in the log files); http://site.net/.well-known/acme-challenge/LMoEOieTpArq3vrDVYU...

Issue adding new domain
Hi, I've just done a fresh install of the latest VestaCP, but when adding a new domain it sits there for ages (this is from the web-based panel). I've watching the `top` and I see: 30914 root 20 0 23492 15552 3164 R 16.3 0.4 0:00.50 v-add-web-domain It just sits there for ages, and eventually does t...

Re: admin password reset not working
Oh, I came across this:
viewtopic.php?t=5598
Running:
export VESTA=/usr/local/vesta/;
Seems to have worked (the command runs fine after that). Can I set this in the main server config, so I don't have to do the "export" each time?
Cheers
Andy

admin password reset not working
Hi, On a fresh install, I tried setting the password to yQ4=EGRz>%r3 but for some reason it won't let me log in. I'm trying to reset but it doesn't seem to work: sudo /usr/local/vesta/bin/v-change-user-password /usr/local/vesta/bin/v-change-user-password: line 17: /func/main.sh: No such file or dire...

Re: domain alias xxx doesn't exist
Cool thanks. As mentioned, I've fixed mine as they come up by disabling and re-enabling ssh with LE each time I get an email about it not refreshing properly. Would be good to see a fix though :)

Re: domain alias xxx doesn't exist
Hmm ok - so maybe its not fixed! That domain is OK (for now), but now I'm getting 2 other domains doing the same error on the cron. Neither of them have aliases, so I'm not sure why it would complain one doesn't exist! So no one else is having this issue? It only seems to be affecting one of my serv...

Re: domain alias xxx doesn't exist
I'm still not sure why this happened. I ended up having to disable SSL, save the account, edit and re-enable SSL and LE, and then save. After a couple of minutes it updated and said "ok". Checking the site the certificate has updated now. Still weird why it came out the blue like that (renewals norm...

domain alias xxx doesn't exist
Hi, As of a week ago, I started getting these emails from the nightly cron: Cron <admin@admin> sudo /usr/local/vesta/bin/v-update-letsencrypt-ssl domain.co.uk Error: domain alias domain.co.uk doesn't exist The weird thing is that if I run that cron manually it works fine (no errors printed). The ali...

Re: DMARC setup
Hi You should be able to use a DMARC genarator. Take the out from it and amend the DMARC filed in the DNS section. Just make sure to keep the rules relaxed untill you know your OK. Thanks. Yeah I did a bit of research, and found that just adding: _dmarc v=DMARC1; p=reject; sp=none; rf=afrf; pct=100...
