We are happy to announce that Vesta is back under active development as of 25 February 2024. We are working on v1 candidate and expect to engage more with the community over the coming months. We are committed to open source, and we encourage contributors to help us build the future of Vesta.

Re: New VestaCP release
Roundcube is not a part of VestaCP.
It comes with your Linux distribution (Debian, CentOS, Ubuntu...).
You can either update it via system update tool (apt-get, yum...), or manually, by downloading new version of Rouncube and replacing it over old version (backup old version first!)

Re: StartSSL Certificate on Domain
Take NginxServer.zip, because Vesta is running on nginx on port 8083 :)
Put cert file instead of /usr/local/vesta/ssl/certificate.crt
Put key file instead of /usr/local/vesta/ssl/certificate.key
And then run:
Also restart exim4 and dovecot.

And then run:
Code: Select all
service vesta restart

Re: New VestaCP release
Someone said they will finish refactoring in next few weeks, and then they will know how much time they need to finish release.
Sincerely, I do not expect it in next two or three months, by knowing their tempo :)

Re: Roundcube Password Plugin
I didn't suspect that you said that, dont worry :) Driver for password plugin is external script in some way (it's not a part of the core), that script just make a connection to VestaCP and call /reset/mail/, probably there is nothing to refactor, because it's very simple single-procedural script......

Re: Roundcube Password Plugin
Offtopic: I'm making a pull request only for the things that I'm 100% sure what I'm doing. For example, I will not make a pull request for the scripts that is used on other OSes (CentOS for example), while I'm using Debian 8. This pull request is for file install/debian/8/roundcube/vesta.php - so, f...
