Re: Let's encrypt Error code: 2.
If you get an error trying to set up ssl on a domain, I believe you'll get the first website in the nginx config that it has for a valid https site. (don't quote me, maybe I dreamed this.) Do you see the correct domain when you go there without the s? (http://domain2) Solve the SSL problem for domai...

Re: letsencrypt started failing update
I should make it clear that although the domain was panel.domain.tld, this is the standard port 80. Not the actual control panel on 8083.

letsencrypt started failing update
I had a situation I thought I'd relay for others who may hit it. letsencrypt started failing for my main control panel domain while it continued to work for other domains I created in the panel. An important factor is I use an external dns. If I would run "v-check-letsencrypt-domain admin panel.doma...

Re: Install DNS after setup
I've had it on from the beginning, so I don't know if it will show up on the Server page to turn on or not, but certainly look there.
https://<YOURSERVERDOMAIN>:8083/list/server/
Is Bind9 in the list of services? Turn it on.

Re: DKIM is in DNS but doesn't show for any tools, including dig
Not sure if it's related, but if you check dkim off and back on again, the DNS entry gets malformed for mail._domainkey for that domain. You could select the content for it and copy/save it somewhere, then delete the mail._domainkey record in your DNS and recreate it and paste in the content you alr...

Re: Bug in VestaCP related to dns / dkim editing
There are records for mail._domainkey and _domainkey. He means both of those. mail one has the key. I just ran into this. Is it in the bug tracker? It should be. Since you only seem to hit it if you turn dkim off and then on again, I haven't yet bothered to edit the vestacp file anticipating an upda...

mod remoteip also requires logformat change
After following this thread: https://forum.vestacp.com/viewtopic.php?t=10249 I found the apache2 log was still giving me the server IP instead of the remote IP. I changed /etc/apache2/apache2.conf as follows: #LogFormat "%h %l %u %t \"%r\" %>s %O \"%{Referer}i\" \"%{User-Agent}i\"" combined LogForma...

Re: proxy support, template and extensions for non admin users
Thanks for that reply.
So if I login as admin, and then switch to a user within vestacp, I'll be able to see the proxy support options. That would be acceptable. I'll go test that.
Thanks for the very useful help.
cheers,
Lane

proxy support, template and extensions for non admin users
Hello, I'm using vestacp on a ubuntu 14.04 server and have created websites under the admin user as well as under newly created users. I find that I cannot see the proxy support checkbox or the template and extensions under web domain editing for a non admin user, while I can see the for the ones cr...
