Re: nginx stat 13: Permission denied error
I was facing the exact same issue! I had checked (and corrected) that all directories in the path had execute permissions, but the problem remained. In my case, I had to add +read permission to others group for all folders inside public_html. So the mask is 0755 for all directories. In case someone ...

Re: [BUG] Roundcube Webmail Can Not Write Logs
And since we're looking at Roundcube, it would be a good idea to configure Roundcube to use SMTP and NOT php mail() If this option is left blank, the PHP mail() function is used to send emails. We don't recommend this because mail() suffers of some limitations and doesn't restrict sending to authent...

Re: [BUG] Roundcube Webmail Can Not Write Logs
Thanks SCelik for posting that info. I had the same problem and managed to solve it using your input. I'd like to add some more info. In the default VESTA setup in Ubuntu 14.04 and 16.04, the directory /var/log/roundcube is owned by www-data and belogns to group adm . But in this setup, I needed to ...

Re: Cannot unsuspend domains
OK, this was tricky but I have found fix that worked in my case. I'm sharing it here so it might help others. Reading through the code of v-unsuspend-domain I found that the info about DNS domains is saved in the file: /usr/local/vesta/data/users/dns-cluster/dns.conf So I opened this file and found ...

How To Use Let’s Encrypt On VestaCP Login Panel (Port 8083) https://blog.flaunt7.com/how-to-use-lets-encrypt-on-vesta-login-panel/ Does this work for all of you? In my case, there were issues during the auto-renewal of the certificates. More specifically, the auto-renewal procedure of Let's Encrypt...

I tend to agree with that, since it seems to have become common practice almost everywhere.

Re: [Solved] Lots of hacked websites on my server
Even though you solved to problem, have a look at php Malicious Code Scanner, which you could schedule as a cron job. Or even Linux Malware Detect.
