Re: Directory map/tree of Vesta installation?
Yes, thank you, I'm aware of that and it is a helpful reference.
I was hoping for something more comprehensive that covers any/all files I might want to backup or reference for diagnostics. There are a number of working folders that I think may be missing.

Directory map/tree of Vesta installation?
Is there any documentation of the directory structure of a Vesta installation? I've been google searching without any luck, and I'm sure many would find it very handy.

Re: All VestaCP installations being attacked
Hi, 21 servers hacked , all hosted by OVH. All of them with random ports. We really need to have feedback about what was the issue and how it worked, until then , our servers are going back to plesk :( Was there any evidence of port scanning prior to the attack targeting the VestaCP port? There mus...

Re: TUTORIAL: PHP selector for PHP 5.6, 7.0, 7.1 and 7.2 for Debian (and optionally make direct nginx <-> PHP-FPM stack)
I followed this step-by-step on Ubuntu 18.04, and didn't get a single error. I only had to change the repository at the beginning of the tutorial. Unfortunately, the switcher only works for PHP 7.2 all the other versions do not create the properly named socket. I believe that PHP 7.2 may have alread...

Re: User problem after uninstall / reinstall of VestaCP
I tried this again and things work fine if I also delete the linux users that were created within VestaCP before reinstall of VestaCP.
ANyone know what residual VestaCP information is causing VestaCP to assume those users still belong to it after reinstall?

letsencrypt cert for admin panel with install
I believe the fact that VestaCP does not install an SSL certificate by default should be treated more like a defect then a feature enhancement. I know the team has limited bandwidth and there are many features in the backlog. But I believe this issue should have a higher priority than something like...

Re: Install of VestaCP and SSL for itself
I Agree with you, There are a lot of ready useful things which can be implemented easily in VestaCP by it's developers: I don't disagree, I'm sure there is a huge backlog of valuable enhancements that can be made and limited resources. I wish I was a bit handier with Linux administration and as a s...

User problem after uninstall / reinstall of VestaCP
I followed the instructions in VestaCP documentation to uninstall, and then I reinstalled VestaCP. After reinstall, I see a user I created in the web interface. I got a strange error when trying to add an IP address that the user does not exist, even though I wasn't trying to associate the IP with a...

Install of VestaCP and SSL for itself
I've been puzzled by the fact that the VestaCP installer doesn't setup a Let's Encrypt SSL for its own control panel it installs. Especially since the current installation process, and resulting self-signed certificate, is a very bad security practice. The self-signed certificate requires users to i...
