Re: Got 10 VestaCP servers exploited
I, personally, have one question for all administrators whose server got hacked. Did you disabled dangerous PHP functions (like shell_exec(), system() and exec()) with "disable_functions" in php.ini ? Very interesting approach! I'm posting below my own findings. Maybe there is a correlation after a...

imperio, skid and other VESTA Stuff, Please consider offering an option for certificate-based access to VESTA Panel! When enabled, only the persons with the correct certificate installed in their browsers can be presented with VESTA Panel at https://[FQDN]:8083 Then they'll need to login as usual. ...

Re: DNS Template change & v-rebuild-dns-domain command
This is interesting... I'd completely forgotten about this thread and today (2,5 years later) I was looking for an answer to this same problem. Anyway, the problem is still there and a quick workaround I've found is to apply a different DNS template to the domain and then reapply the changed DNS tem...

Re: Letsencrypt intermediate and leaf certificates
If the problem is with intermediate certificate, then link to [certificate].pem instead of .crt
Also make sure that file permissions are correct an prosody process has access rights to the certificates.

Re: nginx restart failed + Letsencrypt
50 days, no reply, nginx still crashing on production servers :( I'd like to add some more info to this issue. Today, one of my domains renewed it's Let's Encrypt certificate and as a result nginx crashed. The problem was again the same: a curly bracket broke the syntax of /home/[USER]/conf/web/sng...

Re: Backups not deleting old Backups in New version 0.9.8-18
Thank you for pointing us to the fix. I have many VESTA installations so I wanted to script the repair for faster application. My contribution to the community is a One-line command that will apply the patch and backup the original file with .bak extension: sed -i.bak '502s:backups_count - BACKUPS:b...
