What you need to do is add web domains, these are virtual hosts that will respond with a proper public_html folder depending on the domain in the http request header. You can serve up potentially unlimited(depending on your server's resources) different domains/public_html folders.

Ensure you have nginx support turned on for the web domain. I thought I didn't need nginx either and had it off but no connectivity to SSL. Turning it on worked like a charm.
