Re: Ubuntu18 - phpmyadmin errors
You have to manually update phpmyadmin. The ubuntu bionic beaver repo has old version which doesn't play well with php 7.2

Re: Security
Run that same test script, scroll down to where it says disabled functions. If it is your list, it's working.
Anytime you change anything in php that phpInfo.php will let you know if it is working for that domain. :-)
It lists every function of php and it's setting.

Re: Security
That depends on your setup. If its straight out the box, I believe Vesta uses a single php.ini (I have switched to php-fpm). Easiest way to find out. Go to your domains root folder and add this script: phpInfo.php <?php phpinfo(); ?> Then visit it in your browser: http://yoursite.com/phpInfo.php In ...

Re: Security
Ummm. That's because it's a PHP ini directive?

Re: Security
This is a MUST starting point for any shared hosting... disable_functions = exec,shell_exec,passthru,system,proc_open,popen,show_source I use that even for my personal sites, just in case joomla exploit happens, php shell kits fail. This will hinder some plugins, but... remove the plugin. Never comp...

Re: Security
Funny everyone here, in ignorance, says use sftp plugin. That does nothing for php. It ONLY restricts ssh. open_basedir is what others suggested, and it is one of the first steps. Next would be to disable dangerous php functions that nearly ALL shared hosting providers disable. OS? Nginx + Apache? T...

Re: Duplicate Title / URL on search engines
I'd suggest if you want help, first, need to know your OS. My distro preference is Ubuntu.
Second, we need the websites. Not fake ones. Third, what is the google search you used to get the links.
It is nearly impossible to guess.
