Database shows empty on VestaCP and phpmyadmin but site is still working
So I am trying to migrate a big site I have (it's a media wiki installation and the db is like 500mb uncompressed I think), but after I tried to migrate through vesta I just noticed it didnt back up and restore the db properly so I went to recheck it and the db is displaying completely empty on both...

Ok so I was able to get it to restore using this answer in another thread
But now after I've sucessfuly restored the backup it still apears 0mb disk and 0mb db on vesta, and I can't see the site accessing the ip directly

Try to place your backup in /backup instead of /home/backup. Ok that worked. Thanks a lot!! Documentation should really be updated then because there it says 2. Copy tarball to the new server and place it in the /home/backup directory scp /home/backup/admin.2014-01-14.tar new-server:/home/backup/
