I had experience with cakePHP before that had a hard time working with nginx + apache configuration
try turning off nginx and just use apache as your stand alone web server..

nginx serves static files (images, css, html etc.) really fast and efficient and passes php and .htaccess requests to apache for processing apache serves php and .htaccess (most cms site like wordpress needs it for rewrite) and if you throw in a php opcode cache like zend opcache or xcache it should...

thats the local host ip address... you can delete that.. according to my vesta cp.. I only have my servers IP address in it.. Thank you.
