Error: mysql config parsing failed
Yo! Okay so I've been running VestaCP for over a year now and I'm happy with it. Usually I fix a lot of the problems I've got myself but I'm kinda stuck on this one. I'm running Vesta with a remote mysql server. Apparently VestaCP runs some kinda of backup of my admin account every 5 minutes and it ...

Re: Vesta Automatic App Installer [Version 1.0.2]
@joem Thanks, works really neat! I'm gonna do a few packages of some projects I like and release them here if anyone else wants to use them. By the way, during testing with the current packages already available I did stumble upon a gateway timeout with nginx when doing the prestashop install. It di...

Re: Vesta Automatic App Installer [Version 1.0.2]
I like this ideal alot and played around with it ran into a few big issues but I will give it another try. What kind of issues did you run into? Maybe I can help out. Do you have this project on github or something like that? I wanted to add some packages myself and it looks relatively simple when ...

Re: Nginx fails to start after reboot
As @BBuchanan1013 said, something is using port 80. If you used Ubuntu (14.04 up to date), there's some bug with the install because it will installa apache server as well, even if you did pick nginx+fpm. At least that's what happened with me. Might be because of some other package that vesta uses t...

Re: Vesta Automatic App Installer [Version 1.0.2]
This App Installer looks really neat. However it wont install any apps, it always comes back with Installation Issue: WordPress has mysql import problems. I suspect this have something with to do with me running the sql server on another server then vestacp. It would be nice if we could choose what ...

Re: PHP5-FPM socket error.
To solve this in the meanwhile, you could edit the template file being used (For Ubuntu 14.04 at least. Webserver might run under different user on another dist...): /usr/local/vesta/data/templates/web/php5-fpm/socket.tpl And change listen.owner = %user% listen.group = nginx to listen.owner = %user%...

Re: NGINX not working with SSL
The problem still exist and the reason as some people have pointed out is because it adds the Apache line to the Nginx configuration instead of detecting the webserver and use right configuration. To solve this, edit the following file: /usr/local/vesta/bin/v-add-web-domain-ssl starting at line 93 t...
