Re: Letsencrypt renew automatically
Do you have an IPv6 (AAAA) record for the domain in question? It seems there is an issue now, for those who have the IPv6 records: https://community.letsencrypt.org/t/vestacp-invalid-http-01-challenge-response-xhtml-document/36527/9 LE has just started prioritizing IPv6 addresses if they exist. I've...

LetsEncrypt suddenly stopped working
Hi, This seems to be quite a common issue, but nothing I've tried thus far sorts it. This is the closest I've found: https://forum.vestacp.com/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=13979 The pipe exists and seems to work fine for new sites. However, the "admin.mydomain.com" sub-domain seems to be failing: Error: Inv...

Re: DKIM , why isn't it validating?
Hi,
Yeah - the \n in the output is the problem. I wrote a little perl script to update the DNS record for the DKIM stuff, so I just replaced \n with a null value, so it has the correct value. I guess it needs fixing in the source though (not sure if it has already been dealt with?)
Cheers

Re: Location of Roundcube config file?
OK, well I'm still not 100% sure which file it was - but it turned out to be a server issue The PHP version installed didn't have libzip4 compiled with it, so I re-run with: sudo apt-get install --reinstall php7.0-common Now recognises the plugin and gives a "Download All Attachment" button :) Cheer...

Location of Roundcube config file?
Hi, I'm trying to enable the zipdownload plugin in RoundCube (so you can download all the files in one go). I'm on Ubuntu 16.04 LTE. According to this page: https://vestacp.com/docs/#config-log-location-debian-ubuntu The config files are at: /etc/roundcube/main.inc.php /etc/roundcube/db.inc.php /etc...

Linode DNS server automation script
Hi, I've been doing a lot of work moving over one of my old servers to a new setup with VestaCP. The most of it has been easy, but I've found it a total PITA getting the DNS stuff done on Linode (as you have to setup each domain individually!). So, I decided to write a script to make it easier! This...

nginx + Apache + php-fpm?
Hi, Can you build the servers using: --nginx yes --apache yes --phpfpm yes There only seems to be the option for: nginx + apache nginx + php-fpm ....is there any reason we don't have the option to install all of them? I'm currently using the php-fpm + nginx setup, and then installing Apache myself. ...

More secure generated passwords?
Hi, Is there any reason the password generator only uses a-z 0-9 ? (/js/pages/add_user.js) . I tweaked mine to be 15 chars long, AND include !@$%^*_-/ as well: randomString = function() { var chars = '0123456789ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXTZabcdefghiklmnopqrstuvwxyz!@$%^*_-/'; var string_length = 15; va...

DKIM , why isn't it validating?
I'm trying to work out what I'm doing with the whole DKIM stuff. This is what I'm running on the server: v-list-mail-domain-dkim-dns fatpeter chambresdhotesfrance.com RECORD TTL TYPE VALUE ------ --- ---- ----- _domainkey 3600 IN TXT "t=y; o=~;" mail._domainkey 3600 IN TXT "k=rsa; p=MIGfMA0GCSqGSIb3...

Re: cannot create user preferences file /nonexistent/.sp
Hi, Is this still an issue with the latest VestaCP? I get this, and no emails are getting through: Apr 26 12:09:56 admin spamd[19296]: spamd: connection from localhost [127.0.0.1]:43096 to port 783, fd 6 Apr 26 12:09:56 admin spamd[19296]: spamd: creating default_prefs: /nonexistent/.spamassassin/us...
