as well as PHP7 problems. As your script did the trick at first, but whenever logging in to phpmyadmin afterwards will generate massive amounts of gettext notices. Thus still some work to do ;-)

and when you create a new webdomain under a new user... don't forget to use the wordpress2 vesta template instead of default. Saves you a couple of days of googling ;)

use cloudflare ... and create a pagerule; problem solved ;) It's what I've been using for 5 years. No messing with https and http on a webserver level to force ssl and free (flex) ssl certificate. But just as easy with strict ssl.

Little addendum. Don't forget to upload an empty nginx.conf to your WP dir prior to installing a fresh or reploading an old WP installation with plugins creating a nginx file. As Nginx will crash after creating a new Vesta user of template being unable to find the file otherwise. As I found out ...
