Re: Increase PHP memory limits
Generally speaking, in Ubuntu 16.04 + apache & nginx configuration, per domain php memory limit can be changed in the following files:
Restart apache to activate the changes
Code: Select all
/home/[user]/conf/web/[domain].apache2.conf
/home/[user]/conf/web/[domain].apache2.ssl.conf
Code: Select all
systemctl restart apache2

Re: Error message on
I'm facing similar issues, when doing a restore on the same server of the same domain. This has happened to me in two different cases (domains with WPML). PHP Fatal error: Interface 'WPML_Log' not found in /home/user/web/domain/public_html/wp-content/plugins/sitepress-multilingual-cms/classes/xml-co...

Re: Ubuntu 14.04 and vestacp - why can't I restore a wp site?
It will always help you if you provide all the details and steps you take to complete an action. Restore from VESTA GUI or the command line? What steps (or clicks) you take to restore? Are there any messages or errors? After the restore, how can you tell that the restoration didn't go well? Are ther...

Re: Memory Usage Spike - Newbie
I can tell from the graph that some process eats a lot of RAM and that causes MySQL to run out of memory and thus fail/stop. It could be Apache, which can eat large amounts of RAM if not configured correctly. To fine-tune apache, I use apache2buddy . A perl script that checks your apache configurati...

Re: Cant connect to FTP if
I've seen strange problems with FTP clients like CuteFTP. I suggest you try FileZilla which works like a charm.

Re: Split WEB / MAIL Setup
Thank you for your replies, but I already know how to set this up (in fact I already have this ready). I'm sorry for the misunderstanding... :( My question was twofold: 1. Is there a way to automatically create mail domains & mailboxes on the mail server, from VESTA installed on the web server? Like...

Split WEB / MAIL Setup
If we want our VESTA hosted domains/sites to be blazing fast we'd go for an SSD VPS/Dedicated. But that would mean way less storage for web sites and emails :( I'm trying to figure out a way for a split WEB / MAIL setup. One SSD VPS with VESTA being a Web/DB Server and another HDD VPS with VESTA bei...

Re: Why VCP no PHP 7 support?
Although it's mentioned in other topics as well, it's worth noting that it's not always a solution to reinstall/upgrade the OS if one domain/site requires PHP7. Moreover, if one domain/site requires php5.6 and another one requires php7.0, it quickly becomes a mess. I've read the unofficial guides on...

Re: E-mail and SSL certificate
Probably, the most easy thing you can do is configure exim + dovecot to use the SSL certificate of the server's FQDN (e.g. server.example.com). You need to add Let's Encrypt SSl for your server FQDN (in your admin account) and then use the generated certificates in exim + dovecot configuration. When...
