New Percona instructions
Hey y'all, I had to put this out there. The Percona instructions for: Ubuntu 16.04 need to be changed/modified I have gone through 2 complete re-installs of the OS due to slight issues. I also suggest that this be done on a new install of Vesta. Ubuntu 16 aka Xenial installs php 7 and MySQL 5.7 <- t...

Re: Install Failed with Error "Error: invalid status format :: global"
You can try creating the file yourself... If the location doesn't exist mkdir -p /usr/local/vesta/ips/ I use and prefer nano, but if you like something else, use that, but my instructions will be for nano: cd /usr/local/vesta/ips/ nano <your ip address here> I'm going to paste a copy of what mine lo...

Re: There is a lot open port on my ubuntu server
Keep SSH (22), HTTP (80), Mail (if using the server for SMTP) (25)(110)(143)(465)(587)(2525)(993)(995), DNS (53), SSL (443), and of course Vesta (8083) open.
But it is possible that the server firewall is not running. Check that first.

Re: VESTA environment variable and bin path not present.
Have you verified that Vesta installed correctly?
Have you verified that Vesta files are actually there?
Is the file your calling in the Vesta folder?
I too have just installed VestaCP on Ubuntu 16.04, not on Digital Ocean, but that shouldn't matter.

Re: Is it possible to add a CAA record for a domain?
Maybe it is only noticed when checking your HTTPS website with SSL Lab test. It's counted with test? Really? ;) It's about to be a mandated requirement with SSL that dns has a CAA record. It's another security step to actually verify that not only is the SSL Cert valid, but it belongs to the host s...

Re: API check username and password
Hi, I want to use the API to check username and password, but it doesn't work. Everytime he pass the check, I'll get 'OK: User can login'. It doesn't matter what value $username or $password contains. I've only a problem with this one, other API scripts works good. <?php // Server credentials $vst_...

Re: VestaCP Boxbilling Updates
Thanks so much for your reply! I have installed that manager in the correct location and configured it correctly in BB, it connects to the server fine apparently, but I am still getting the 'Server Manager Vesta CP Error: Create Domain failure' window in BoxBilling. It seems like there is some erro...
