Re: force-https not working
The other way to fix would've been (if using apache) to create a .htaccess file or use one that's already there and create a rewrite rule to do the same thing.arktex54 wrote:The fix was to create a new user and move the domain over.

Re: ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT Ubuntu+fpm-php+nginx
Checking here: https://intodns.com/denverprophit.us and http://www.dnsinspect.com/denverprophit.us/10113128 Everything looks ok... This is way tooo high: time 5999ms And really digging into it, you do have a dns issue: OK. Domain denverprophit.us. resolves to: United States 98.124.199.2 Which from w...

Re: Custom site with Vesta Panel
The site gives you instructions for using Nginx AND Apache. So if your using both, then you need to set it up with both. If not, only use what you need. If you read my post about Global ServerName here you'll see that apache (and I'm guess Nginx as well) use the OS default directories first. Another...

Re: Taking the user password to connect to the web ftp
Login as Admin->User->Login as->Web->edit->add additional FTP
You can delete the first ftp account or leave it. Scroll down you'll see add one more ftp account. You can manually set the password so you know it.

Re: VestaCP Boxbilling Updates
best advice is to make sure you have the latest vesta.php from boxbilling. There are several out there, the best one to get imo is the one from the official boxbilling github extensions:

Re: HowTO: ServerName globally
For those that have ubuntu + apache and get the wonderful warning: AH00558: apache2: Could not reliably determine the server's fully qualified domain name, using (your hostname). Set the 'ServerName' directive globally to suppress this message What I did was to create a global file to suppress it i...

Re: Installation Faulire - Debian 8 Minimum Install
I had a similar issue with Ubuntu 16. Found out it was a global ServerName issue followed by a unresolvable hostname. So, you can try: root@host:echo "ServerName yourhostname" >> /etc/apache2/apache2.conf then adding to the hosts: root@host:echo "serverip yourhostname" >> /etc/hosts once that's done...

Re: Install fails ??
unable to resolve hostname is a fixable issue.
my example would be
Code: Select all
$root@host:echo "your ip your hostname" >> /etc/hosts
Code: Select all
echo "12.34.56.789 default.hostname" >> /etc/hosts
