Re: Tutorial: Block Pakistan and prevent cyber attacks. IMPORTANT. Developers Check it
I agree with ScIT. Moreover, black hat hackers usually launch their attacks through other systems in other countries. So it doesn't really matter where the hacker is located physically. All that matters is the security systems of the server and the awareness of the person responsible for it.

Max single email size
Hello, I've searched the forum but couldn't find answers to these questions: 1. What is the maximum allowed single email size for incoming and outgoing emails? (max attachment size and max incoming email size) 2. How/where can we change this? Email access via Email client & Roundcube Operating Syste...

Re: How to downgrade php 7 to php5.* in ubuntu
I'm planning to move to PHP7 and this topic got me thinking. Could you spare some time to share with us why you need to go back to php5? Are you facing an issue with major apps like Wordpress or Joomla or is it just some custom code that needs previous php version?

Re: Best method for creating and renewing an SSL certificate for VestaCP backend/mail server?
In my opinion, the server certificate (used for VESTA, Exim, Dovecot, vsftpd) should be on the FQDN of the server, e.g. server1.mycompany.tld Yes, I agree! There should be an option in the admin UI for that, but for the time being I'm using a script I've written to take care of that. As always test ...

Re: Roundcube: Connection to storage server failed
I faced the same issue on CentOS 7 + VESTA and I confirm that the solution provided by Thantis works :-)
BTW, you might want to make this change to /etc/dovecot/conf.d/10-mail.conf where namespaces are supposed o be defined.

Re: HOWTO: Force https AND http2 AND Rewrite to non-www!!
Nice guide @PagesAtHome, thanks!
In my case, I just needed to enable http2 so I didn't create a new template (.stpl file) and just edited the hosting.stpl file, adding the http2 ssl directives.

Re: How to Install Let's Encrypt on Latest Vestacp
I'm interested for this as well. I found a support document at CloudFlare but I doubt this can work with VESTA. Any other ideas?

Re: Adding Letsencrypt SSL to domains Error
I was facing a quite similar problem but not exactly the same. I was getting an error about not being able to access a file at /tmp/something.
I solve this by completely disabling SSL for the domain, saved the changes and then checked again SSL and Letsencrypt and it worked.

Re: Increase PHP memory limits
To increase PHP memory limits... For Ubuntu Servers Change setting php_admin_value memory_limit in file: /home/[user]/conf/web/apache2.conf If you want the setting to apply to all new web sites that you create, change the setting in template files at: /usr/local/vesta/data/templates/web/apache2 For ...
