Re: open_basedir problems with MediaWiki
open_basedir settings can be modified in php.ini, apache http.conf, or in individual site apache conf. It is not directly related to vestacp. You can add additional path (/tmp) in this case to the open_basedir setting. This may help: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/23846394/phpmyadmin-can-t-impo...

Re: HOWTO Install ngx_pagespeed (Google PageSpeed)
@soldx see issue here: https://github.com/pagespeed/ngx_pagespeed/issues/1180
There was a bug in 1.9.x so the last message on that thread and I quote, "ngx_pagespeed 1.9.x is no longer supported, and has unpatched security vulnerabilities. Please use the latest version (1.11)."

Re: VestaCP Scaling
I'm also in agreement with @dpeca. I'm not sure if you realize that the problem is not about share drive or rsync of /usr/local/vesta but about /home and /etc. I don't believe that there is anything in /usr/local/vesta that is machine specific. Just think of VESTA as being just like any other app. Y...

Re: Ubuntu 16, php-fpm update error.
Have you tried executing what it suggested?
Usually it will tell you why. Maybe some ini configuration is incorrect.
Code: Select all
See "systemctl status php7.0-fpm.service" and "journalctl -xe" for details.

Re: Cron : Delet Backup + Free Cached Memory
I would suggest against it - see here: http://serverfault.com/questions/597115/why-drop-caches-in-linux I've been working with linux for a long time and never really have to use this drop caches method. If you're running into a problem: 1) Figure out what is causing the problem. #1 rule of thumb is ...

Re: SSL shows other domain
All your conf/config and certs should be in this folder: /home/{user}/conf/web - check SSL configuration in: snginx.conf and sapache2.conf - certs extensions are: {ca,crt, key, pem} Another good place to start is to look at your logs, which should be the first place to start: /var/log/apache2/domains ...

Did you mean row_format?
Your other option is innodb_file_format which is either antelope or barracuda

Re: Docker container as web backend.
Unlike the op, I implemented full docker for vestacp here: https://hub.docker.com/r/niiknow/vestacp/ Since it's a monolithic image, it does defeat the purpose of docker/microservice design. Of course, it was for a different purpose. I just want to host with VESTA but didn't want to blow away or mess...
