Also, I'd like to know how to exclude a folder in web/example.com. Can't get that to work either through the user directories exclusion.

I want to change a few things in my site's .conf file. If I change a setting through vestacp though, the file is rewritten without my alterations. So I had a look inside /etc/apache2.
