I admire your tenacity. The software keyboards on Android phones drive me nuts, perhaps because I touch type. But each to their own ...

Re: Viewing on Android Phone: parts cut off.
I'd suggest given the ease of installing VestaCP on a cheap VM, you should probably just try it and see. I don't know how skilled you are at web development, but you should find all the files in /usr/local/vesta/template. Be aware that every time you upgrade Vesta your changes will be overwritten. H...

Re: Nginx server warning error after upgrade
Just filed a bug report on this. Affects version 1.15 and above. http://nginx.org/en/docs/http/ngx_http_ssl_module.html "This directive was made obsolete in version 1.15.0. The ssl parameter of the listen directive should be used instead." In actual fact, the template uses BOTH methods, so we can pr...

Re: Unable to add www as server alias
It seems to have been fixed. If you're still experiencing it, you can replace your func/main.sh file with the latest one from github
Or make the change manually. Its only a small edit. https://github.com/serghey-rodin/vesta/pull/1490/files

Re: How to Auto Change IP Address in VestaCP
What is the latest and greatest way to update all the IP addresses when migrating to a new server (including a floating IP I have behind NAT) ? Vesta will always need to use the local IP assigned inside the VM, not the NATted floating IP. The reason for this is that Apache/nginx bind to the local I...

Re: How to Auto Change IP Address in VestaCP
Recent changes to the files in /home/<user>/conf/web mean that the search and replace given in the script doesn't work. I had to use sed -i 's/1.2.3.4/5.6.7.8/g' /home/*/conf/web/*apache2*.conf sed -i 's/1.2.3.4/5.6.7.8/g' /home/*/conf/web/*nginx*.conf Then systemctl restart apache2.service systemct...

Re: Updating Roundcube
Took a backup of /usr/share/roundcube and tried updating there. Additionally copied a couple of files to the /etc/roundcube dir which is effectively /usr/share/roundcube/config Ran composer update. /usr/share/roundcube $: php composer.phar install --no-dev Loading composer repositories with package ...

Re: roundcube logs
Config file for roundcube is held in /etc/roundcube and symlinked from the /var/lib/roundcube directory. - logdir in there for me was set to /var/log/roundcubemail, which doesn't exist. Change to /var/log/roundcube - logdir must be writeable by apache (www-data perhaps?). Check - Also had to add thi...

Re: Updating Roundcube
I have Ubuntu 16.04. My /var/lib/roundcube looks like this /var/lib/roundcube $: ls -hal total 20K drwxr-xr-x 5 root root 4.0K Apr 28 2017 . drwxr-xr-x 62 root root 4.0K Mar 28 11:04 .. lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 14 Apr 6 2016 config -> /etc/roundcube lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 23 Apr 6 2016 .htaccess -> /e...

Re: Tut: Change VestaCP port through SSH Command line
I'm going to make a suggestion. Perhaps the vesta admin port should be kept in $VESTA/conf/vesta.conf Then this value could be used to generate the nginx.conf, the firewall conf etc. Perhaps, also, if this is implemented, the vesta admin port could be semi-randomly generated at install. and maybe a ...
