Re: Unidentified IP in VestaCP
This is a private IP, I think the solution is delete that IP from vesta. Maybe vesta need a function to exclude local IPs to fix it. line 39 of v-update-sys-ip when get ips ip_list=$(/sbin/ip addr|grep 'inet '|grep global|awk '{print $2}') ip_list=$(echo "$ip_list"|cut -f 1 -d /) ip_num=$(echo "$ip_...

Re: Error: Connection timed out after 20 seconds of inactivity
What about log ?
Maybe you use all your pasive ports, so you make alot of conections, log may have more information.
Stop firewall and test whitout firewall ( not recomended in production but you can test for discard it )

On centos, in debian /sbin/login may vary.
You can read man pagefor more information
** I edit comand to do nologin shell.
Code: Select all
useradd -M nginx

Have you nginx installed ?
If yes, is there a nginx user ?
You can edit logrotate or crond.daily or create a nginx user.

Re: Mass change of NS records
You can go to
And use some comand like:
man replace
Then rebuild DNS from vestacp to that user.
If you edit it on /home/[user]/conf/dns/ vesta will overwrite that files.
Code: Select all
/usr/local/vesta/data/users/USER/dns
Code: Select all
replace -v "DNS2 "DNS3" -- *
Then rebuild DNS from vestacp to that user.
If you edit it on /home/[user]/conf/dns/ vesta will overwrite that files.
