Remote ftp backup server

Hi! Im trying to use my second vps as a backup of my main server but im having problems setting up v-add-backup-ftp-host
This is what i tried:

 v-add-backup-ftp-host ftp.mydomain.net login_At_remote_host password /home/user/web/domain/public_html/backups

And i get this error:

Create directory operation failed.
Remove directory operation failed.
Error: can't create temp folder on the ftp

what am i doing wrong?

has the user permissions for the the following path? ... just use login and password.. and try again

I think the path should be -
/home/USER/web/domain/public_html/backups

Or the path to Vesta's Backup folder is -
/home/backup/

yeah sorry i meant to put the user bit in there. i will correct that on the post. I want to send the backups on the the public_html/backups dir on the destination server.

I still receive the same error

2nd edit: im assuming this is just a permission issue. What can i change to try to fix it? I have found a post that tells me how to add the remote ftp backup by creating ftp.backup.conf and change vesta.conf, but i just receveid an email saying backup failed because it can't create backup folder

ok... so i turned of the default ftp server and installed proftpd and now errors shown!!! But no output too, normal?
anyway, i tried before to add the server manually by creating a conf file, should i delete it?

ok.. so it didn't work. no file was sent.... :S

anyone have an answer for this? i think this is really important. if backup system vesta cp has does not work properly it should be addressed
