Can we use CSF on top of VestaCP firewall?

with the old version yes I think

with the new version it can interfere with builtin iptables.. I dont know for sure

Yes, but remember to say that Firewall can't be activated. There is still a little bug. Maybe is better wait the fix.

Centos 6.5

But there are other people that have the same problem. Don't know what kind of SO they have.

port blocking means nothing. vesta only serves at smtp pop3 ftp dns web ssh https and 8083 ports.

Blocking other ports mean nothing, because there is nothing, no service at that ports lol. blocking non existing service ports means nothing

we need something proactive like csf

Fresh installation
problem in not reproduce

I think this problem on already installed servers

the guy above told he made a fresh install but he also couldnt get firewall to work. maybe debian issue?
