Backup retention policies

Does anyone know how many backups Vesta retains before deleting them? My disk space is very precious and I'd like to know how I can set a policy to only have 3 or 4 days worth of backups at any one time.

I was thinking about running a cron job to remove old backups but I'm hoping there's a more effective way of doing this within Vesta. Thanks.
