Disk size after VPS upgrade
  • Quote

Post by kevalva » Mon Jun 20, 2016 7:14 am

Hi,
I have installed vesta for some time on a vps with 10GB space, then I upgrade my VPS be 20GB, but the information remains listed server disk size 10GB (/ dev / vda1).
how to make vesta detect the disk size according to the capacity of my vps? ( 21.5GB - same as Disk /dev/vda)?
Thanks.

Try in console and show us output:

Code: Select all

/usr/local/vesta/bin/v-list-sys-disk-status

Code: Select all

df -h

Code: Select all

fdisk -l
PS: OS? VPS virtualisation?

Well, Vesta info don't wrong, you have 10GB space and additional disk 20Gb, but it's unmounted... Hard drive size was not increased.

you have to boot from gparted live CD (if you are on KVM VPS) and use it to expand your OS partition. Backup your VPS Data before doing this
